If you could open a restaurant, any kind you want, what would it look like and what's on the menu?

A vegan restaurant. The only animals allowed would be the patrons' pets on the "porch." Not because I am vegan, but because that way everyone could eat there -- whether they avoid pork or beef, or are allergic to milk or eggs. There would be no eggplant because it's one of my own allergies. I would be sure that there was a "nut" section of the kitchen where foods like peanuts and tree nuts are prepared because that seems to be a very common set of allergies. And while many things would be prepared with wheat flour, I would have options for spelt and gluten-free meals.
On the menu: yummy soups like lentil and split pea, veggie stew, fresh breads, pizzas, noodle dishes, salads hot and cold. And desserts. The kind that people who have allergies and food prohibitions usually can't find... cakes, puddings, pies, "ice creams" and fancy hot beverages. Prices mid-range in general with some items very affordable and a few really "hoity toity" offerings for special occasions.
I would like the restaurant to be open and soft -- the pet porch would be inspired by the sidewalk cafes with wrought iron railings and little bistro tables (but it would be at least partially enclosed so still comfortable in wet and cold). The inside would be neither really light nor really dark -- both styles annoy me -- carpeted to keep down sound; a mix of upholstered booths and table with chairs (I like upholstered chairs on wheels). I would love an atrium-style skylight with lots of plants. Children always welcome with a little play room near which parents and caregivers could sit in a child-friendly (not carpeted) space to eat not really segregated, but set apart a ways so people without small children could eat in comfort.
Next door: my "used and unusual" bookstore, with a pass-through to the kitchen so customers could enjoy tea or coffee and a dessert while they sit and decide which stack of books to purchase...
