What is your home decorating style, and how has it changed over time? Do you have plans to redecorate?

I have early "too old for the dorm, too poor for real furniture" decorating...  Our furniture is nearly all hand-me-downs or garage-sale items.  I have dreams, and my personal tendency is toward craftsman style furniture or (they seem to coordinate) more modern scandinavian designs.  I think it's because I tend to be a somewhat carefree, less-than-organized person and so I like the bones of my environment to be uncluttered.  Someday, I hope to replace some of the  storage units (bookshelves, drawers, etc) that are standalone with built-ins; and I hope to add a few occasional tables and footstools.
